Thanks, for your response, Kevin! I got a sense that you are exploring [Memoirs of an ex-Christian] and that's ok by me. I was into everything before Jesus delivered me. I went through an agnostic phase, but quite a lot of my exploring, searching, etc, was trying to come to terms with my history [years spent in orphanages]. I wonder if you have unresolved STUFF from your childhood? Anyway Kevin, I will pray for you.

hope it's not too much trouble patrick, but i'm a little bit confused by your post on the scriptural passages about the sun revolving around the earth. may i understand that you take these passages to be literally true and not idiomatic?
if i am correct in this understanding, how do you explain the numerous pictures we have taken from satellites, telescopes, and even the moon landing which show our solar system appears consistent with the heliocentric model? are they a hoax, and who on earth would want to perpetrate such a hoax?--can you imagine how much funding goes into NASA, how could they plan their space missions properly if they're working under a completely wrong model.
