DIVINE INSPIRATION OF THE SCRIPTURES

A Summary of the Overwhelming

Mathematical Evidence of the

Divine Inspiration of the Scriptures

A converted Russian nihilist, Ivan Panin, graduated from Harvard in 1882 as a mathematician. He then spent 50 years (wow!) on deciphering the mind-blowing mathematical structure of the Bible from the first word to the last. Since every letter in every word of the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts also has a numerical equivalent, every letter, word, phrase, sentence, paragraph, and even every subject has a definite arithmetical sum.

What follows is a severely abbreviated example of the kinds of phenomena Dr. Panin discovered when working with those numerical equivalents...regardless of whether they pertained to a given subject such as the genealogy of Christ, or a book of the Bible, or the Bible in its entirety. Marvel at each of these as you read:

The number of words in the vocabulary will divide by the number seven.

The number of words beginning with a vowel is divisible by seven.

The number of words beginning with a consonant is divisible by seven.

The number of letters in the vocabulary of a subject (like the genealogy of Christ) is divisible by seven.

Of these letters, those which are consonants and those which are vowels both divide by seven.

The number of words occurring more than once is divisible by seven. Those occurring only once likewise divide by seven.

The number of nouns is divisible by seven. The number that are not nouns divides by seven.

The number of proper names divides by seven. The male names divide by seven. The female names divide by seven.

The number of words beginning with each of the letters of the alphabet is divisible by seven.

Having explained the function of numeric and place values in the Hebrew and Greek languages in Scripture, it is noted by way of example that the value of the word "Jesus" in Greek is 975, of which the numeric value is 888, and the place value is 87. These features produced these astonishing results in addition to the previous examples:

The numeric value of the vocabulary is divisible by seven.

The numerical value of the various alphabetical groups of words is divisible by seven.

The numerical value of the various forms in which the words occur produce the same phenomenon.

Dr. Panin challenged any person to write one paragraph of 300 words intelligently and produce some numeric phenomena of like designs, and complete it within six months. Anyone who could do it would prove himself/herself a wonder. No takers.

Since many of the writers of the Scriptures were men from ordinary walks of life with little or no schooling, it is beyond astonishing that the same harmonious numerical features were found in different wording of the same or similar accounts, as in the four Gospels. Even more amazing, the number of words found in Matthew that are not found in any other New Testament book display elaborate numeric design. How did Matthew know that he had used words that would not be used in any of the other 26 books? He would have to have before him all of these books, and would have to have written last.

It so happens, however, that each of the other books shows the same phenomena! Did each writer write last?! If not, then, was each writer a mind reader as well as a literary and mathematical artist, never equaled and hardly even conceivable?

But that is just the start of Panin’s findings! He proceeded to prove that every book of the Bible carries such features, that each one is necessary to cause the numerical scheme of the entire Bible to work out correctly, and that nothing can be added to or subtracted from the Bible, as we have it, without spoiling these features. From the first verse of Genesis to the last verse of Revelation, these divine evidences are found. The God of nature is, therefore, proved to be the God of Scripture. The quarrel of modern skeptics, therefore, is not with believers of the Bible, but with God Himself.

Panin’s discoveries revealed that several numbers other than seven produced equally astonishing results. For example--having gone through detailed lists of the known and unknown authors of the Bible’s 66 books and through their arrangement from the Hebrew Received Text and the Greek Text and the numeric values of the names of those which have known authors--it was found that the sum was 721 elevens. The sum of the factors involved was 121 or 11 x 11.

The presence of these factors of 11’s in connection with the number, order and names of writers is either accidental or designed. That the number of books in the Bible should be a multiple of 11 might be purely accidental. Since, however, only every 11th number is a multiple of 11, the chance for any number being a multiple of 11 is only 1 in 11.

That this number could be so divided between anonymous and non-anonymous books that each class could also be a multiple of 11.... Well, this may also be accidental, but the chance of it happening is only one in 11 x 11, or one in 121.

That this number could also be divided between anonymous and known authors by 11’s among the authors of only one book and those of more than one may be due to chance, but the chance of this being accidental is only one in 11 x 11 x11, or 1,331.

Going thus far through the 8 features of 11’s noted, every one might be accidental, but the chances for their being so is only one in the 8th power of 11, or 214,358,881.

The sum of the numeric values of the 26 authors (7,931) is also a multiple of 7. Of this number the 21 writers of the Old Testament (3 sevens) have 3,808, or 544 sevens, and the N.T. writers have 4,123 (589 sevens). Of the 3,808 belonging to the O.T., 2,933 (419 sevens) belong to the writers of the Law and the Prophets, from Moses to Malachi, and 1,190 (170 sevens) belong to the writers of the so-called Hagiographa, from David to Nehemiah. Seven of the 21 O.T. writers (3 sevens) are expressly named as such in the N.T.; Moses, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Hosea, Joel. Their numeric value is 1,544 (222 sevens). The numeric value of Moses who heads the list and John who closes it, is 345 plus 1,069, totaling 1,414 or 202 7’s.

The Bible begins with the Hebrew word "beginning" and ends with the Greek word hagios, "saint". The Hebrew word occurs in the following books (lists them) and the Greek word occurs in the following books (lists them).... These books are 42 in number (6 sevens). Take the respective numbers of these books in the order of their place and there sum is 1,575, (225 sevens).

These eight features of 7’s in connection with the order and writers of the books may also be accidental, but the chance for these features of 7’s and 11’s happening together is one in billions.

The conclusion of these and many other similar features--the labor of a professional mathematician for half a century, remember--is what anyone open to the Truth will readily concede, namely, no mere human authorship of these phenomena is possible. Only a superior mathematical mind, the very mind of God could have planned these numeric results (unbeknownst to the writers themselves). Verbal inspiration of the Scriptures in this discovery of mathematical configurations which are immediately recognizable and instantly understood to be far beyond the capabilities of the mind of man must henceforward be attributed to a loving God Who has left no reason to change or doubt anything in His Guide Book to eternal life. "Study to show thyself approved" (II Timothy 2:15) is a fair request for God to make of all of us it seems.

I can always claim that you have a repressive childhood involving the Christian churches. Unless you are willing to read Scripture and examine your beliefs under its light, I have no wish of listening to your pontificating regarding my supposed 'hurtful childhood'. I pray that God will have mercy on your soul and save you from your sins. Your calling me David after being corrected shows either that you have some psychological problems or that you are being deliberately malicious. A FISHING STORY

Have you tried fishing? Not your common or gardening angling, but “reel fishing”! Not with worms or artificial flies, but with “real meat”, like horses or donkeys. We used to do it every summer…well! It was your summer & our winter. You’ve probably gathered, that I used to live in Australia.

We’d hire this boat, quite a big one it was, Ethel & the kids, John 14 & Sandra…she’d be 17 by now. We’d do a picnic basket – lovely it was, ham, salad, cold turkey, a couple of bottles of wine & a case of Lager. And off we’d sail over the reef. The sun would beat down, often the sea would be as calm…no calmer than a mill pond & we’d just drift. We’d put our lines over then & just wait – play cards, gossip & sing carols. Wonderful it was. Mind you, Ethel, didn’t care for the bait, it was the smell you see & the sight of this dead horse cluttering up the deck. “Patrick”, she’d say! “That horse is putting me off my dinner”! Well, it didn’t bother me or the kids, it wasn’t like that, the abattoirs delivered it quite fresh but Ethel used to say that it “sneered” at her & made noises, offensive noises, when the gases escaped from its gut. The kids loved that “Mum”! They’d say when it did it – “The horse is playing, God Save the Queen”! Well she didn’t like that, not Ethel, strict monarchist, she was, thought it was very disrespectful. She would go into one of her sulks & it would last for “bloody hours”.

Mind you, she did get a bit more excited when we got a shark interested. Well she had to with the thing thrashing the water & banging against the side of the boat. And then there would be more…dozens of the bastards, tearing chunks out of the horse, blood everywhere, snapping at each other. But I don’t think she really approved, not Ethel. She said it was senseless slaughter. Well I suppose it was if you look at it that way! But there are lots of sharks aren’t, there?

It went wrong when we got the “great white”! Huge it was, more like a submarine, really. Again & again it tore great hunks of flesh from the carcass, but it wouldn’t take the hook. Clever “bugger”! It had learned you see. Well I was determined that it wasn’t going to get away. I threw the Lager, all the picnic stuff in the water. Ethel went mad; I’d never seen her so upset. She tore the rod out of its restraints & hurled it in the water. I didn’t stop to think, that’s always been my problem, “being impetuous” – Ethel followed the rod! Well! She was gone in “two bites” & I didn’t catch the shark. It seemed to know, it sort of “grinned” at me & then just made off. The kids weren’t too pleased either…they’d missed their PICNIC!!

THE 12 STEPS DOWN TO HELL

I imagine 12 Step recovery programs are a slow slide into the jaws of Satan. I was involved with this evil “satanic cult” [AA] for over 30 years but was saved through the power of Jesus Christ. He directed me to a therapist who was into “real” recovery, not the mind destroying, soul destroying, cult, which is AA. I have met two Steppers recently & I imagine they are completely devoid of any emotion or insight. I feel pain because both these men are decent human beings but AA has destroyed their individuality & they have no idea how to relate apart from expounding AA propaganda. I imagine Hell to be a continuous flow of AA meetings without any light at the end of the tunnel because one never recovers'. I beg you people who are in 12 Step programs, to get out before it is too late.

How does one recover when one is handing one’s power over to AA. The 12 Steps were written out of Wilson’s head, he certainly didn’t get his guidance from the Bible. I imagine he was an agent of Satan & he & Smith’s “cult religion” has filled millions of Steppers with their anti - Christ propaganda.

Step Three of AA is "Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood him." While many in the Oxford Group placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, there was much leeway given. Shoemaker, a leader of the Oxford Group, says, "The true meaning of faith is self-surrender to God." He further explains:

Surrender to whatever you know about Him, or believe must be the truth about Him. Surrender to Him, if necessary, in total ignorance of Him. Far more important that you touch Him than that you understand Him at first. Put yourself in His hands. Whatever He is, as William James said, He is more ideal than we are. Make the leap. Give yourself to Him.

Aside from capitalizing the "H," which Christians do to refer to the God of the Bible, "Him" could refer to any god of one’s own making [bedpan].

Can you see what is happening to you? Ask Jesus to take control of you lives, read the Bible & instead of 12 Step groups, go to Church. Burn your Big Book or use it as toilet paper. Can you see the difference: With The 12 Steps, you never recover but with John 3:16 you are guaranteed Eternal Salvation. The “ball is in your court”

HOLY SPIRIT

About 3 years ago I dropped into a black hole – four months of absolute terror. I wanted to end my life, but somehow [Holy Spirit], I reached out to a friend who took me to hospital. I had three visits [hospital] in four months – I actually thought I was in hell. I had been seeing a therapist [1994] on a regular basis, up until this point in time. I actually thought I would be locked away – but the hospital staff were very supportive [I had no control over my process]. I was released from hospital 16^th Sep 1994, but my fear, pain & shame had only subsided a little. I remember this particular morning waking up [home] & my process would start up again [fear, pain, & shame]. No one could help me, not even my therapist [I was terrified]. I asked Jesus Christ to have mercy on me & forgive me my sins. Slowly, all my fear has dissipated & I believe Jesus delivered me from my “psychological prison.” I am a practicing Catholic & the Holy Spirit is my friend & strength; every day since then has been a joy & blessing. I deserve to go to hell for the life I have led, but Jesus through His sacrifice on the cross, delivered me from my inequities. John 3: 8, John 15: 26, are verses I can relate to, organically. He’s a real person who is with me all the time. I have so much joy & peace in my life, today, after a childhood spent in orphanages [England & Australia]. Fear, pain, & shame, are no longer my constant companions. I just wanted to share my experience with you [Luke 8: 16 – 17].

SALVATION

Salvation is always the ending of the minds fascinated identification with the dead and unchanging image of what it was. It is the complete reversal of the

"natural" order of things a METANOIA - the Greek word for repentance, meaning precisely a turning around of the mind, so that it no longer faces into the past, the land of the shadow of death, but into the Eternal Present.
So long as the mind is captivated by memory, and really feels itself to be that past image which is "I" it can do nothing to save itself; it's sacrifices are of no avail, and it's Law gives no life.

After years of therapy, I had a metamorphosis - I asked Jesus to have mercy on me & forgive me my sins. He delivered me from my inequities. Praise the Lord!!

CANCEROUS GROWTH

I imagine AA to be a cancerous growth in our society. I'm a recovered alcoholic who has been sober for over 21 years. I've seen this "cult" virtually destroy people where they become these Bill & Bob zombies devoid of any emotion. I imagine most of the Steppers are not dealing with their core issues and become addicted to the "droning Bill & Bob heads" who pop up and expel meaningless diatribe from their mouths. It's the only "disease" you don't recover from & one is continually confessing ones non - existent sins, which intensify the guilt and fear when one is not at a meeting (indoctrination session). I imagine the meetings numb and shutdown the critical thinking section of ones brain. I know a guy who has been sober 30 years and I imagine him to be quite mad - he doesn't even know what he's feeling most of the time apart from feeling depressed. I imagine AA to be the road to hell and that it's anti - Christ and the Steppers sell their souls to the "cult", because they are too terrified to face their “demons” & recover their true selves. That "inner child" who is waiting to be freed is slowly pushed down until it disappears into oblivion. That "child" is God! "Unless you become like little children...." "The kingdom of God is within you!" I hear things like; "I need to do the Steps!" "I need more meetings!" "I had cancer or my wife died or I lost my job!" "But! Guess what! I didn't pick up a drink". They might as well say; "I fell of my chair but I didn’t pick up a drink”! "Meaningless”! Why? Because one is not expressing ones feelings! Ones process is all about feelings! How does one recover if one doesn’t feel ones pain, fear, & shame & realise these feelings, especially if they are overwhelming; are feelings, from ones childhood. All AA does is suppress these feelings until one ends up a semi - depressed zombie like the lunatic who has been sober for 30 years. Can you see how dangerous this "cult" is? A madman, Bill Wilson, started it and if you want to end up like him, keep going to meetings. The sure way to insanity is "Meetings!" "Meetings!" "Meetings!"

THE SACRED BULL

I imagine the people in 12 Step programmes have sold their souls to the devil. Fortunately, I was saved through the power of Jesus Christ, but for many years had been exposed to the evil "satanic cult" (Alcoholics Anonymous) Wilson (AA) has prostituted himself & deluded many thousands (12 Step Groups) by worshipping the god Moloch (Ba'al the Sacred Bull). It all started with his (Wilson) "drug induced hallucination".... Wilson's "original mystical experience" was his alleged "conversion" --a classic occult encounter: "Suddenly the room lit up with a great white light. I was caught up into an ecstasy...it burst upon me that I was a free man...a wonderful feeling of Presence, and I thought to myself, 'So this is the God of the preachers! ' A great peace stole over me...."(25) This was not the "God of the preachers" but the one who transforms himself "into an angel of light" (2 Cor 1l:l4)-a light that often transforms those involved in the occult. The experience was so profound that Wilson never touched alcohol again. Satan would he more than willing to deliver a man from alcoholism in this life if thereby he could ensnare him for eternity and inspire him to lead millions to the same destruction! Wilson joined the Oxford Group and regularly attended its meetings at Calvary Church (NY), pastored by Episcopalian Sam Shoemaker. Shoemaker urged his hearers to "accept God however they might conceive of him...."(26) Here was the origin of Step 3's "God as we understood him." God does not respond to those who call upon false gods. Jesus said, "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" (Jn 17:3). God's judgment comes upon them "that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thes 1:8). Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people. Don't go a whoring with Molech, wizards, or people with "familiar spirits". And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. Baal Moloch was conceived under the form of a calf or an ox or depicted as a man with the head of a bull. Hadad, Baal or simply the King identified the god within his cult. The name Moloch is not the name he was known by among his worshippers, but a HebrewMoloch (in the Septuagint Greek translation of the Old Testament), or Molech (Hebrew), is no different than the word Melech or king, transformed by interposing the vowels of bosheth or 'shameful thing'. translation. PSYCHOLOGICAL FUTURE

The past is all our accumulated memories. These memories act in the present & create our hopes and fears of the future. These hopes and fears are the psychological future; without them there is no future. So the present is the action of the past, and the mind is this movement of the past. The past acting in the present creates what we call the future. This response of the past is involuntary, it is not summoned or invited, it is upon us before we know it.

QUESTION: How are we going to be from the past?

ANSWER: To be aware of this movement without choice – because choice again is more of this same movement of the past – is to observe the past in action: such observation is not a movement of the past. To observe without the image of thought is action is action in which the past has ended. To observe the tree without thought is action without the past. SATANIC CULT

Since the AA cult is the one that called for Wilson to have a "drug induced hallucination" & since it is alive & well in all 12 Step Programs today, that information seems a rather pertinent factor to weigh in if one is to look for a suspect as to who & what & how the Bible, which is the word of God can be replaced by a Big Book <12> disease scenario attributed to Frank Buchman Wilson, Smith, et al.
Is the triumph of today's 12 Step paradigm, which is certified by the World Health Organization - a clear confirmation that those ancient "brain dead" misfits Wilson & Smith were supernatural messengers of God. That's what Alcoholic Anonymous is saying. Or is that triumph which is destroying the cornerstone of Bible credibility & hence Christianity a long laid "satanic" motivated strategy to replace Jesus of the New Testament with a higher power.

"How many 12 Step Programmes are there? Hard to tell.... I suppose if you count all the smaller groups, there are a hundred or so."

A hundred "groups"! That's a lot & we haven't gotten to some of the other sects.! Actually, these groups come from 20th century sects, who included the Oxford Group, Buchmanism & Alcoholics Anonymous. Of these, only AA survived & all 12 Step Programs are descended from it.

You know, the message the 12 Step Paradigm tells us that we are all just powerless over our addictions, meaningless specks of offal in an endless ocean of space and matter where hydrogen atoms and bacteria of unexplained origin can turn into god as
you understand him!! Oooo! It’s so exciting and uplifting to be regularly assured by Steppers in all their ineffable knowledge and function is just an accumulation of 1st Century Christianity Buchmanism & Nihilism. Oooo! It’s heart-warming, I’ll tell ya. We owe these "messengers" so terribly much that it is difficult to put into words... We can talk to dead people & consult spiritists.

9 When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. 10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifice his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. 13 You must be blameless before the LORD your God [Deuteronomy 18: 9-13]

Wilson was a “detestable necromancer” who talked to dead people & consulted spiritists. He was “an angel of light” and if you Steppers want what he had, keep going to 12 Step meetings & end up as zombies. I beg of you to see the True Light [John 3: 16] & have Eternal Life, not death [12 Steps].

I imagine AA is a very dangerous cult. I was associated with it for over 30 years. I imagine, it changes the structure of the brain and one slowly deteriorates into another dimension. The people talk in a monotone and their feelings are completely non-existent: “We don’t talk about feelings, we’re here to get sober!” If one starts to have feelings, one might drink!

I was fortunate, because I started seeing a therapist in 1994 and he helped me process my history and deal with the terror, shame and pain from my childhood. Recovery, for me is recovering that “little boy” who was horrifically abused and process the associated feelings [I spent all my childhood in orphanages].

I haven’t had a drink for 22 years, & I imagine if I depended on AA to recover I would end up a “gibbering idiot.” I was never insane but I imagine AA will certainly do the job for you, if you hang around long enough.
I know a guy who hasn’t had a drink for over 30 years and I imagine he’s quite mad. He severed our relationship because I said that AA was a cult and that Bill Wilson was a false prophet. We had been friends for 30 years. That’s how strong the AA trance can become. His words: “I don’t like people, running down AA! He didn’t tell me how he felt, because I imagine he doesn’t know. I imagine he’s a “rageaholic” [most Steppers are] & rages over his fear, pain and shame, which is exactly what I used to do before I started seeing a therapist.

I imagine AA is still in the “dark ages”, - so controlling and I imagine AA doesn’t keep Steppers sober.

Ones process is never about someone one else; ones process is back there in one’s childhood. AA has helped me to recover, because it was very much like my history: very controlling and oppressive. I also imagine it to be anti-Christ.

For me the journey of recovery has brought me to a deeper understanding of what Jesus Christ did for me. I should be in Hell but Jesus died on a cross for my sins. I called on him 3 years ago, after years of therapy and he has taken away all my fear and guilt. Jesus has forgiven me my sins, not a higher power but Jesus Christ the Son of God. I love you so much, Jesus, my Lord and Saviour. I could never forgive myself but Jesus did through his sacrifice, on the Cross.
